We have a small car park opposite the prison (SY1 2HP). Additional parking can be found at the train station pay & display, which is located 50 meters away from the prison entrance on Howard Street (SY1 2LF), charged at £5.40 per day.
Shrewsbury Train Station (SHR) is situated directly opposite the prison. If travelling by train, exit the station and head up the steps on the path to the left, then cross over the train tracks using the Dana bridge.
You will be dropped off outside the prison. Your coach will park in a local coach car park and return after your visit from outside the prison. Your coach driver will provide and confirm specific details on the day.
